Yana is a graduate from the University of Washington with a Psychology major. She proceeded to move overseas to become an instructor in scuba diving which contributed to job opportunity at Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium in Tacoma. There, she worked as a member of the Eye-to-Eye Shark Dive Program team. Yana is passionate about the conservation of sharks and our oceans.
