Weather predictions in the Pacific Northwest rely largely on a network of buoys stationed in the ocean. First Buoy to Monitor Ocean Acidification Launched
The first buoy to monitor ocean acidification has been launched in the Gulf of Alaska. Attached to the 10-foot-diameter buoy are sensors to measure climate indicators. OCS Papa mooring is discussed.
