    NeMO Participants

    Scientists

The scientists listed are those participating on the R/V Wecoma and R/V Thompson/ROPOS expeditions. (Many other scientists have collaborated on this project). Scientists include principal investigators, technical specialists, graduate students, ROV engineers and other nonpermanent crew.

    Teachers

The NeMO teachers are providing a link to the science activities for the general public via the WWW. Information will be aimed for students and teachers but is of general public interest. One teacher will participate on the cruise while the other remains onshore at the Hatfield Marine Science Center.

    Ship's Crew

The R/V Thompson and Wecoma ship's crews make the expeditions possible. Their skill navigates the ship to research sites, handles the heavy equipment being deployed and recovered, prepares meals 3 times daily for all aboard, maintains computer networks and many more important tasks.
