[las_users] LAS mobile Webapp

Dear LAS users and developers,

I think about developing a mobile webapp for LAS that provides a user 
interface for smart phones. I looked at the vm templates and thought 
about creating some new ones for this purpose.

Are there already similar projects or plans?
Is it a good idea to use the velocity templates for this purpose?
