Roland, After updating to Thredds 4.2.9 on our development box, we noticed we were missing the iosp and gov directories under …webapps/thredds/WEB-INF/classes/resources. We were also missing the FerretConfig.xml file. After restoring these, we were able to perform some of the Apply Analysis options but nothing that had to do with time. I made similar changes to our production machine with the same results. Later this afternoon, we were able to do Apply Analysis with average and time on the production machine using FIREFOX. If we use INTERNET Exoplorer 8, we do not get an error but the plot that is displayed has the title for the first date while under Firefox the title starts with the word ‘Average’. Will you be updating LAS so it will run consistently under Firefox and IE? (We reported a problem with IE 9 previously.) Sure hope so! Penny Oots From: Roland Schweitzer [mailto:roland.schweitzer@xxxxxxxx] Dan, All of this information is tell you that your Ferret-THREDDS Data Server (a necessary component of the analysis feature in LAS) is either not running or is not installed at all. The first step is to verify that you have followed the steps here: After you have verified that you have followed these steps, then do a clean start of the F-TDS by stopping the server, removing everything in $TOMCAT_HOME/content/las/conf/server/temp and restarting tomcat. If it still doesn't work then we can begin debugging the problem by looking at the F-TDS logs in $TOMCAT_HOME/content/thredds/logs. There are some debugging tips here: Roland On Tue, Jan 10, 2012 at 12:13 PM, Oostra, Daniel H. For example when trying to do an average/time analysis plot on http://mynasadata.larc.nasa.gov/las/getUI.do?dsid=cryosphere&varid=si_cover&auto=true the error that I receive is: “ A component needed for your request is down or was not installed.
