Re: [las_users] hhow to display units correctly?

Hi -
I replied to your other question before seeing this one.  The changes I was referring to in my previous message were only in adding some extra space at the right-hand edge to make room for longer key labels.

If you want to edit the Ferret scripts, the one to edit would be LAS_open_window.jnl

There is not an easy way to add factor and offset to the xml configuration, but you could add scale_factor and add_offset attributes using  THREDDS by means of an ncML description of the dataset.

Hi,

the data set "Atlantic ecosystem model GENUS" on the LAS

have units that require an exponential form in the colour key. Here some
digits are outside of the viewport and are not displayed in the figure.

There are two questions:

- what is the best place to edit ferret scripts for a correction of the viewport?

- is it possible to apply a factor and an offset in the xml-descriptor file. I could not
find such xml-keywords in the LAS description.

Many thanks,
Martin Schmidt
