mp_stereographic_south and go mp_land

Hi all

We have a problem using mp_stereographic_south and go mp_land. In
essence plotting a northern stereographic plot works fine but when using
the Souther Hemisphere we are not able to overplot the land outline
(mp_land, note mp_fland works fine) or any lat-long grid.
Any help ?
