Re: [las_users] Installation of LAS 6.5.1.2 on a Red Hat Linux release8.0 Platform

Dear Xiaoping,

Thanks a lot for the reply. I forgot to mention earlier that I even tried
2 instead of 1 earlier.

Again, for clarification, please see below that I chose 2 instead of 1.
There is, still no change in the message what I am getting. :

[root@maud las]# ./configure

The following Perl modules haven't been installed:
        Carp::Clan
Do you want to build these modules (this can take up to thirty minutes)?
[yes] yes

You can install these modules as:
1) part of the Perl distribution
2) part of the LAS distribution
If you choose 1), all Perl applications
(including other LAS servers) will have access to the modules.
If you choose 2), the modules will only be accessible from
this LAS server.
Choose installation type: [1] 2

Installation of following modules failed:

You need to install these modules by hand

Can this be due to some other issues? I would highly appreciate some
clarifications.

Thanks in advance,

C. Shaji.
