[las_users] Installation of LAS 6.5.1.2 on a Red Hat Linux release 8.0 Platform

Dear All,
I am facing some problem in the installation of LAS version 6.5.1.2 for
the last several days. Let me explain the problem and my current situation
in detail. Please someone give me a useful suggestion to fix it.

1) I am using the LAS 6.5.1; the Perl Version is

[cshaji@maud modules]$ perl -v

This is perl, v5.8.0 built for i386-linux-thread-multi
The platform used for LAS installation is
Red Hat Linux release 8.0 (Psyche).

2) Initially I was getting the error that the following modules failed in
installtion process.
Installation of following modules failed:
Bit-Vector-6.4
Carp-Clan-5.3
Date-Calc-5.4
Time-HiRes-1.66

Then I installed all the above modules separately. I also understand that
the two Perl modules named "Carp-Clan-5.3" and "Time-HiRes-1.66" belong to
the latest version of LAS. Is this correct.

3) The present situation is that in the LAS installation process, I am
getting the message saying that the Perl module Carp-Clan-5.3 is not
installed. Please see below.

4) By seeing the above, I also installed the "Carp-Clan-5.3" module
separately, and I could not see any error or failure in the installation.

5) After this, I again followed the step for LAS installation. However, it
gives me the same message always. That is,

Can someone suggest me why I am getting this error and how can I fix this?
