Ben,

All of the navigation links in the left-hand menu are found in the 
Velocity template $LAS_HOME/las_servlet/src/single_nav.vm.  If you need 
to remove an item, just edit the file
to remove the HTML structure (a table entry) and the link that you need 
to eliminate.  Save the file and copy it into your webapps/las directory 
and the change should be visible immediately.
