bookmarking images

Is there a way to bookmark a las-generated image so that it will be automatically regenerated if it has expired from the cache?

I assume that URLs of the form las-output/d6c5e016e894cd5f0c1995547cc00e46.gif are just temporary unique ID's which are only valid within a session..
