Re: las5.2 on port 8888

You can set up different versions of LAS, and different data sets, in
different directories and access them through the web server using port
80. It does mean that you need to change some files in each directory,
as well as have a section in the httpd.conf file for each directory. With
version 5.1, the files that I have needed to edit are:

	File				Change
	=============			=============
	1. httpd.conf 			ALIAS section
	2. server/las.xml		Operations URL
	3. server/GenericLAS_config.pl	output_alias
	4. xml/perl/include.xml		Operations URL
	5. xml/perl/template.xml	Operations URL
	6. ui/log files Change the names
	7. ui/main.html URL in META tag
	8. run the server/make command

Maybe it would be easier to set up a web server on a different port and
then change the link in the html file that you mentioned to point to the
new web server port. The above has worked for me and it takes about 10
minutes to implement.
