Modifying Labels on Plots

Hi all,

I'm not a ferret user so I was wondering if anyone knew which script(s) I should 
be trying to decipher so that I can modify the plot labels and fonts on the 
shaded GIF output from LAS. In particular the labels for:

DATASET: dataset name

TIME: 16-Jul-1996 09

And possible changing the font to something like helvetica.

Any suggestions on where I should start?
