Re: [ferret_users] label ppl_vec_xskip

Hi Ansley,

I am using 7.1. I do not why it did not work, it might be because I was using set. I have tried ppl vector,4,2 and It works perfectly fine. Thanks so much for your help.

Kind regards,

Estanislao

Hi Estanis,

VECTOR/XSKIP= /YSKIP=  should work (what version of Ferret are you running?)

Try these commands,

yes? use coads_climatology
yes? vector/l=1/xskip=1/yskip=1 uwnd,vwnd
yes? vector/l=1/xskip=4/yskip=2 uwnd,vwnd

That is equivalent to this set of ppl commands:

yes? vector/L=1/set uwnd,vwnd
yes? ppl vector,4,2

Hi ferreters,

Does anyone know how to use ppl_vec_xskip? I know that I can use XSKIP=/YSKIP=  but it does not work. I might be because I am using viewport or I am plot 4 things at the same time. I do not have any clue.

Kind regards,

Estanis
