Hi all,

Is there a simple way to open multiple files for a variable that have 
been splitted.
Note that I do know descriptor file technic to work with those files and 
see them as a unique file.
But I loose the fact that there is a time coordinates that is not 
regular (year of 365 days ie months
with different sizes) because the namelist used by descriptor presents 
only one S_DELTA per file

Be able to type the command "USE" with metacharacters would be nice.
use "tas_Amon_IPSL-CM5A-LR_piControl_r1i1p1_*.nc"

to open
tas_Amon_IPSL-CM5A-LR_piControl_r1i1p1_180001-189912.nc
tas_Amon_IPSL-CM5A-LR_piControl_r1i1p1_190001-199912.nc
tas_Amon_IPSL-CM5A-LR_piControl_r1i1p1_200001-209912.nc
