[ferret_users] Extracting data from netCDF files

Hi all,

I have some netCDF files, each with four variables, namely 'Longitude',
'Latitude', 'Time' and 'Precipitations'. It is a simulation of rainfall in the
world from 1961-1999 and from 2045-2075. However, I am only doing an analyse of
precipitation changes in Europe. That is to say, I am only interested in the
amount of rainfall in the 30-60N, 10-30W region.

Grateful if someone could advise me how I can extract the relevant data into
.txt format so that I can use my Scilab (similar to Matlab) programme to do my
analysis. Thank you.
