Hi Paulo,
There are some user-contributed scripts for this:  legend.jnl which places
the keys elsewhere on the plot.  To test it,

yes? go test_legend.jnl

Also see the legline.jnl scripts, which are part of the Ferret
distribution and which are further described in this mail from the
