Re: Running Ferret in batch mode



Hi Francisco,

I plot from a shell script, too. I set the a couple of
environment variable explicitly in the csh scipt from
which I call ferret. Here is what I do:

setenv FER_DIR /opt/ferret
source $FER_DIR/ferret_paths > /dev/null
Faddpath  /export/home/jasedy/data/lastdata > /dev/null
Faddpath  /opt/ferret/bin >  /dev/null

ferret -gif < pc >& /dev/null
