Noah Lawrence-Slavas (NOAA PMEL) working on the electronics for the 'Beast' (or HFS). The titanium pressure case houses all the electronics which control the water sampling. The 'Beast' is connected to Jason's main cable to the ship, and a computer interface inside Jason's control van sends messages down to the sampler.
