Roland,

I am testing LAS 7.2 using Apache 7.0.11 and Ferret 6.6.7 and am running into several problems:

  • After selecting a parameter, nothing changes on the screen.  I then click update (even if it is checked) and nothing appears.  I was hoping for some sort of error message but haven’t found any.
  • Parameter radio buttons do not clear.  I often have 3, 4 or 5 radio button checked under one category.
  • If a subcategory has another subcategory and other than the top parameter is selected, the plot is not updated.  If the first parameter in the list is selected, the screen does redisplay but may get an error because of a date mismatch from the previous parameter.
  • Get error when using descriptive date (Ex. **ERROR: command syntax: Annual Average for Jul 1983 - Jun 2005
DEFINE SYMBOL var_size = 0 + `pvar,RETURN=size`)
  • The date selection drop down box appears to be retained from a previous parameter causing an error when a user selects another parameter to display (see screen shot below).

Are these fixed in LAS 7.3 beta??

LAS v7.3 Beta is available on the FTP site for testing.  A new beta release will be available very soon (hopefully in the next week or two) and we will be working towards an official release soon.
