The properties which are often used as visualization hints are exposed 
in LAS as options which are defined in the ui.xml file.  So to that 
extent that a property and a set of values for that property appears in 
the ui.xml file, then the default LAS scripts will react to that property.

Other than that, there is no formal list.  So you can create your own 
options (by defining them in ui.xml) and modify the scripts to react to 
the properties you define in that way. 

You can also create your own property groups and properties and add them 
to a data set and/or variable definition.  LAS will pick those up and 
pass them along to the back end services and you can use them however 
you like by adding adding logic to the Ferret scripts or by pulling them 
out of the las_request object in the output template.
