[las_users] How to set default date selection in LAS 7.1.1 UI?

Hi All,
How do you set the default date selection for a dataset in the LAS 7.1.1 UI? In LAS V6 I was putting the following in my [dataset].xml:

  <wind_time-t-ncep type="t" units="hour" display_lo="2010-05-14" display_hi="2010-06-16 12:00:00" default="last">
    <arange start="2010-05-14" size="320" step="3" />
  </wind_time-t-ncep>

This would set the start date (2010-05-14) and end date (2010-06-16 12:00:00) and default to displaying the end date in the UI. Now in LAS 7.1.1 the start date is the default instead. I can no longer find any documentation on these settings, so can somebody please advise?
