[las_users] securing las 7.0

Hi,

I'm working with a research group who wish to expose a las (V7.0) 
interface on the public network. For an initial period we need to apply 
some access restrictions.

Is tomcat configuration the only way to do that, or are there some 
secret las configuration parameters which can be changed?
