[las_users] LAS-OPeNDAP : time axis update for forecast data

What is the best solution to obtain a forecast data using LAS-OpenDAP? My problem is in updating time axis automatically.
 
The forecast output file has always the same name, but the data inside of a file is updated when new results come (the data I'm working with is from HYCOM http://hycom.coaps.fsu.edu/thredds/dodsC/Forecast/atl_ops_forecast_catalog.html ).
 
Using addXml.pl, the output xml file contains fixed dates in <axes> section, <arrange start="..."...> , it means that LAS requesting a data will obtain (try to obtain) a forecast data for the dates specifid by xml. When the contents of remote file changed, there will no data for the time period in LAS xml file and LAS will give error. 
 
Is it possible to configure a LAS for automatic detection of time period in this case? Or I need manually update xml file every time the forecast data is updated?
