[las_users] No numerical data after installation of LAS 6.5.2.2 on Red Hat Linux 5

LAS gurus,

We just installed LAS 6.5.2.2 after upgrading to Red Hat Linux 5.1, Ferret 6.08, Tomcat 5.5.25, and Java 1.6.0. (web site is public at http://mynasadata.larc.nasa.gov/las/servlets/dataset if you have time to take a look)

Strangely, we can produce plots but get the following when we try to produce an ascii, table of values, or Arcview gridded output file:

Does anyone have any ideas about what is going on or where to look for errors? I checked Catalina.out.

We plan to install LAS Armstrong next but need to get this working first.
