Tony,
Are you running Tomcat 5.5.25 and THREDDS 3.16? Try putting the URL
for the average (the value of data_0_url) into a browser with a .html
at the end and see if F-TDS returns a valid OPeNDAP data access form.
A few bugs have shown up in the user defined variables/F-TDS
interactions (especially with older versions of Tomcat). Armstrong 1.1
which addresses those problems will be available very soon.
