Takaya,

The message informs us that the LAS configure.pl script tried to compile
the Carp::Clan perl module but failed. This means that you'll have to
install that module by hand. Please go to the the following directory:

cd ~las/xml/perl/modules/Carp-Clan-5.3

and issue the following commands as root:

perl Makefile.PL
make
make test
make install

You may get some error messages from 'make test' and you should look at
them. This is where the automatic installation would have stopped.
However, it's often possible to install the code even if it fails some
(not all) of the tests and have LAS work just fine.

Does any out there have direct experience with perl modules on linux
Mandrake 9.2?
