Hi That did not work for me Jerome, but I followed the instruction by Jon to the previous message in the archive and added the extra lines to the configure.pl file as indicated. This allowed me to complete the configuration but I still get the following errors when trying to access the page on the webserver java.lang.ClassCastException gov.noaa.pmel.tmap.ExceptionFilter.doFilter(ExceptionFilter.java:39) In the previous mail, Jon talks about doing an "ant clean" and "ant dist"...please can someone expand on this? I'm not too clear as to what to do exactly or whether this will solve my problem above. Hi Ruwani,
This happened to me a lot. And this problem goes away if run 'make' under lasroot/server right after you run the configure step. Make sure you stop and start Tomcat after you run 'make'.
Hopefully, it will work for you too.
The LAS gurus can tell you more about why it's doing this.
Jerome.

Is there something obvious that I'm doing wrong??
