Version 6.4.1 of the Live Access Server is now available from the LAS downloads page.  This is primarily a bug fix release.

  1. improved in-situ code
    • self installing SQL database and example configuration files
    • clean up of in-situ products and options
  2. special HTML comment bypasses Velocity template processing

Bug fixes since LAS 6.4 (text describes the bug, not the fix)

  • #834 insitu metadata plot does not plot one profile
  • #958 need to catch start date > end date error
  • #965 insitu single profile needs reference map
  • #945 ParseLEX module requires patch to install correctly on RH9 and ES systems
  • #1000 Malformed SQL query in Time Range (spaces not allowed in time strings)
  • #984 non-java map interface won't allow XY region selection for non-XY products
  • #1001 server-side map croaks when started with use_java=false
  • #333 axis type="t" display_lo does not work within dataset
  • #980 server side map interface doesn't handle modulo properly
  • #999 Non-Java map problems with high-resolution data sets

Known bugs

  • 'sister' servers
    • no support for custom templates
    • no handling of identical dataset names on sister
  • addXml.pl
    • no support for custom templates
    • no support for fractional months
    • fails on data type SHORT
  • in-situ plots
    • gaussian YZ,YT,ZT plots exceed time limit
  • comparison
    • list of possible Views ignores axes available on second variable
  • lasget.pl
    • does not retrieve data stored in back end databases
