Order of variables in menus

Hi All,

I have a set of variables that actually appear in the menu as selecting a mo
nth of data:

<variables>
   <A1 name="July 2001" units="">
    <link match="/lasdata/grids/Satellite_SSMIL1BLow_19.350H_Lindenberg_XYZT
_grid"/>
   </A1>

   <A2 name="August 2001" units="">
    <link match="/lasdata/grids/Satellite_SSMIL1BLow_19.350H_Lindenberg_XYZT
_grid"/>
   </A2>

   <A3 name="September 2001" units="">
    <link match="/lasdata/grids/Satellite_SSMIL1BLow_19.350H_Lindenberg_XYZT
_grid"/>
   </A3>
 </variables>

I want this to appear as:
July 2001
August 2001
September 2001

but it is automatically put in alphabetical order as August, July, September
  How can I force the order I want (perhaps turn off alphabetical ordering)?
