Re: Where's my image?

Ben,

Hopefully this is resolved for you at this point. Again I am not a LAS
authority on this but I will attempt to answer the questions presented.

1. Does your answer account for the fact that this computer and browser
(XP with Internet Explorer 6.0) works fine when I access other LAS sites
that are online?

I am curious of the versions of LAS server which are running on the
server end that the browser is accessing. Are these all 6.3 or 6.2 or
are they earlier versions of the server.

2. Does your answer account for the information I listed below,
especially t

The following is entirely speculation on my part, it may or may not be
on the right track.

Possibly the difference in the log entries comes into effect if the IE
browser cannot display the map applet, therefore it again requests the
image/page which would result in the duplicate log. This is speculation
on my part and could be completely wrong, I am just trying to offer
ideas until the LAS experts respond.

I am curious of the result and log entries if you run the query in the
'no-applet' mode.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Note: If your browser doesn't fail-over, you may access the 'no-applet'
mode on LAS 6.x by appending '?use_java=false' to the URL. For example:

http://someserver/las/servlets/dataset?use_java=false
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hope this helps you,
