Hi,
Our LAS servers at http://hamish.cmis.nyu.edu/las/ (las 5) and http://maud.cims.nyu.edu:8080/las/servlets/dataset (las 6) provide a possibility to plot geographical lat,lon-data and rotated spherical coordinate data in polar stereographic projection (north and south hemispheres). These perl/ferret-plotting methods are based on a routine I mailed to this list earlier, see http://ferret.pmel.noaa.gov/Ferret/LAS/Mail_Archives/fu_2002/msg00134.html
Please let me know if you think our approach would be useful for you and I can sent you my perl/ferret scripts/templates.
Petteri
