This is correct. I think you should first install RH8-distro perl-rpms, e.g. I have:

I installed the perl modules (MD5, AppConfig, File::Pathconvert, Parse::Lex), which failed to install with ./cofigure with perl CPAN shell.  netcdf I have 
# rpm -qa | grep netcdf
perl-netcdf-perl-1.2.1-x3jpl
netcdf-3.5.0-2.7.3

I recall some tests failed, when installing some modules. So I am not completely certain if my system works 100%.

After I installed the required perl modules, I run ./configure and answered no to the question if http-server is running. If I answered yes, the test would fail with a Forbidden message.

This seem to work so far, but I need to add some data and do some modifications to ui.
