Roland,

Which version of LAS are your currently working with?  Joe Sirott
checked your changes to LASDB.pm into CVS as of LASDB.pm revision
1.3.2.2 (May 15'th) and these changes are incorporated in LAS v_5_1_1.

This would not normally be an official release but I believe you've been
downloading code through remote CVS.  If you upgrade to LAS v_5_1_1 or
v_5_1_2 (recommended) you should get the remote SQL access without
hacking.
