Dear Ferret users,
I am using ferret version 5.0 beta 1.1 on Debian linux 2.1.
1) The moment I issue the spawan command, ferret crashes and takes me out
of ferret prompt.
yes? sp ls
sh: option `-c' requires an argument
Segmentation fault
2) I need to read a large number of NCEP/NCAR reanalysis grib formatted
data CDs. As I am familier with the ferret I would like to play with the
data using ferret rather than with GRADS. If anyone has experience in
useing the grib formatted files in ferret, I would like to know about it.
regards
satheesh
