FERRET v5 on linux

Hello,

I've just installed FERRET v5 on an Intel P350 running Debian GNU/Linux
2.1.  When I try to run FERRET, I get an error

$ libtermcap.so.2: not found

This file does not exist on my system.  Is there some other file to which
this should be a link?
