running demo without FORTRAN compiler

I'm a new user. There is no FORTRAN compiler in my system (HP9000).
When running the demo data by issuing a command 'set data etopo60' or
'set data esku_heat_budget', I got an error message 'FORTRAN I/O ERROR
974 Cannot open FORTRAN 77 error ...'. However I still can use the
data etopo120 and coads.

Are there any way to use the demo data such as etopo60 and
esku_heat_budget without a FORTRAN compiler in the system?
