Re: Colour problems on Linux



Hi All,

A quick note regarding Ferret on systems with greater than 8 bit color:

We have tracked down and fixed the problem (solved by Joe Sirott with
alterations to the XGKS library code). The repairs will be available in the
next release of Ferret -- est. 6 weeks away. Meantime, using your system in 8
bit mode (if possible) is a work-around.
