Rainbow Palettes
For the control freaks out there who are producing color hard copies
of Ferret output for publication or conference presentations and are
dissatisfied with the default palettes, I have concocted a few rainbow
palettes that have bright, fully saturated colors. Varying printer
technology may affect how they look -- these have been tested with a
Tektronix Phaser III Pxi Inkjet "phase change" color postscript printer.
To use them, copy the columns of numbers into a file with a meaningful
name (e.g. rgb_9) and use "pal=rgb_9" as a qualifier in your plot
command (e.g. fill/lev=(0,90,10)/pal=rgb_9). Good Luck!
