[ferret_users] Conjunction of variable with longitude and latitude information

Dear ferreters,

I have three variables in one netcdf file; wind curl, longitude, latitude, respectively.
Of course, in wind curl variable, there is no lon, lat information, instead just with index of i and j. Variables longitude and latitude are also with indices of i and j (see below for data information). Apparently, X, Y are not generally longitude and latitude, but an index.
How can I generate new wind curl variable conjuncted with longitude and latitude information? I am trying to use the new generated wind curl to do some analysis with lon/lat information included.

Data information shown below:

 Wind_curl
          Wind curl        1:82      1:3248    ...       ...       ...       ...
             s-1 on grid GQL2 with -9999 for missing data
             X=0.5:82.5  Y=0.5:3248.5
 Latitude
          Latitude          1:82      1:3248    ...       ...       ...       ...
             degrees_north on grid GQL2 with -1.E+34 & NaN for missing data
             X=0.5:82.5  Y=0.5:3248.5
 Longitude
          Longitude         1:82      1:3248    ...       ...       ...       ...
             degrees_east on grid GQL2 with -1.E+34 & NaN for missing data
             X=0.5:82.5  Y=0.5:3248.5

Thank you in advance.

Sincerely,
