I hope this email finds you well.
I am writing regarding the image outputs in PyFerret. I am using PyFerret v7.63 on Linux Ubuntu 20.04 (via miniconda) but I have the same issues with PyFerret v7.62 installed from binaries.
When I save a plot, I use the command FRAME/file=myplot.png
Since I upgraded my ubuntu to from 16.04 to 20.04 and reinstalled PyFerret, the PNG or PDF files I get are framed using a lot of white space on the right and bottom of the plot (see plot attached).
I did try to specify the size of my plot using set win/XPIXEL=1000/YPIXEL=800
and saving it with frame/file=Map_01.gif/ypixels=800, but it did not make any difference.
To use these output images, I used to crop them. But I was wondering if there is a workaround to obtain nice centered PNG/PDF outputs, knowing that I am not ready to update my system to ubuntu 22.04.
I thank you in advance for your help,
Have a nice day,
Serena Illig
