conda create -n FERRET -c conda-forge pyferret ferret_datasets python=3.9 --yes
Cheers, Saurabh
Yes, it is possible to install multiple versions, each in its own environment. Some of us Mac users did this to install v7.5, to avoid the image-clipping that occurred in v7.63.See messages around 25 Oct 2021 with subject "Solving the Mac/FRAME problem for PyFerret: use 7.5".In this message string, see detailed, step-by-step instructions to do this. It's really pretty easy.BillyOn Fri, Feb 25, 2022 at 5:25 AM Olivier Marti <olivier.marti@xxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:Hello,I have an old conda env with Ferret 7.63, and it works fine.Is it possible to install a new environnement with this version of Ferret ? So in the latest pyferret (v7.6 FERRET) you can compute and by using version 7.5 FER you can plot your results. I hope this issue will be resolved in the upcoming release till then happy ferreting.Cheers, SaurabhOn Mon, Jan 10, 2022 at 8:32 PM saurabh rathore <rohitsrb2020@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:Dear FerretersG'dayI am looking forward to seek help in the plots/figure display bug after installing FERRET (conda create -n FERRET -c conda-forge pyferret ferret_datasets --yes) on Ubuntu 20.04.
