[ferret_users] specifying graticule color changes the plot color (line plot)

Dear Ferreters
G'day

I am trying to do a line plot where I can plot the variable in the color that I specify with the gray vertical and horizontal graticules on large tics. So I used the following command

plot/thick=2.1/axes/set/nolab/nokey/dash/col=(99,30,30)/opacity=90/HGRAT="large=(dash)"/VGRAT="large=(dash)"/vlimits=300.0:1000.0:100.0 variable            !!!!!!!!!!    Figure 1 !!!!!!!!!!!

This command plot my variable in red color with a certain opacity but the horizontal and vertical graticule are black as default and dashed as I mentioned above. However, when I issue the command as shown below it issues the graticule command to my variable without changing itself. I can not understand why it is so.

plot/thick=2.1/axes/set/nolab/nokey/dash/col=(99,30,30)/HGRAT="large=(dash, color=(50,50,50,50)"/VGRAT="large=(dash, color=(50,50,50,50))"/vlimits=300.0:1000.0:100.0 mldws            !!!!!!!!!!    Figure 2 !!!!!!!!!!!

So, in total, I want my variable in red color and the graticules in gray color as I defined. I tried to find the solution but haven't got any. I am attaching the figures for reference.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers, Saurabh
