That's nice!  So, from the user's point of view, ERDDAP can be used as a data catalogue and an OPeNDAP-like server.  But,

The PyFerret accessible URL is the same minus the ".html".

this is obscure!  One can never guess.  I need to preserve your message.

But, as you indicate, it's more than a data catalogue.  You can subset the data or you can download the data in various formats, which is also wonderful.
