Yes... I updated the pyqt by using same command. As well as I updated the brew upgrade. Currently, I'm using python 3.7.8.

Thank you for your help.  I suppose you did

$ brew upgrade

which updated the pyqt package.  And that fixed your pyferret problem.  Is that correct?

Unfortunately, that didn't fix my latitude-label problem (https://www.pmel.noaa.gov/maillists/tmap/ferret_users/fu_2019/msg00673.html ) for me.

Before this, I didn't even have pyqt installed on homebrew!  I suppose PyFerret uses Qt installed within miniconda and it doesn't use the version homebrew installs.

I've updated miniconda and re-installed PyFerret, but the problem stays. .  . .

I have gone through your previous discussion. Could you able to import the PyQt5 module in your python?

I've tried that, and yes, I'm able to import PyQt5 .

Regards,
Ryo
