I would like to know details of how you solved the problems.

(2) The latitudinal axis has some issues, we could see NSN and SSN in latitudinal axis label. 

This problem appears similar to this one:

A workaround was to use a system font:

Just now I have solved the problem by updating PyQt5 through brew. 

I'd like to know the details.  Did you just install the "pyqt" package like so

$ brew install pyqt

and then were the problems gone?
