Re: [ferret_users] Labels too close to the colorbar

Hi Ryo,
G'day

I think you can manage it by 5th and 6th arguments in the PPL Shakey Command.

ppl shakey 1, 1, 0.19, , 6, 6, 6.45, 6.65, 0.5, 3.6

0.19 is the size of the label in the color key

and 5th position (6) is the number of significant digits you want so eventually it will count that and put it with space. you can play with it. I hope it will work.

Cheers, Saurabh

Hi PyFerret users,

This problem might be related to the text-width problem

But, instead of adding information to that thread, I just start a new thread, because this might be a separate issue.

As you can see below, the numeric labels on the colorbar are too close to the colorbar under a system font.  (I've just looked at the "ppl shakey" command but don't know how to adjust the distance between the bar and labels.)

Ryo

By the way, Courier does have a nice long "hyphen", which looks fine as minus sign.
