[ferret_users] Re: Figure panels not in their respective locations

Hello:

Just a quick update on this thread: The problem is now fixed. I had missed adding "go mp_aspect" right below "go mp_stereographic_north `ref_lon` `ref_lat`" while generating the first subplot.

Cheers,

Hi there,

I'm busy creating a figure with 6 panels (viewports) using a script adapted from mp_stereo_demo.jnl. While the figure panels all are in the expected locations when saved as a .gif file (see first attached image), they are all over the place when saved as a postscript file (see second attached image ~ only 2 panels are in the expected positions).

Please, does someone know a way/trick for making sure the 6 panels remain in their respective locations for any image format?

FYI, I am using Ferret v7.44 on Linux Debian as well as Ferret v7.1 on Linux Ubuntu. No PyFerret.

Thanks in advance,
