Re: [ferret_users] How to LIST all data points

Hi,
I am unaware of the command which displays all the data points, but dispaying all data points may be not convinient especially for large data. To see all data: (1) you may do plot itself  Or (2) you may do  LIST/FILE=my_file.dat/CLOBBER variable[i=section,j=section] and later see the .dat file (3) Perhaps for one dimensional listing, ferret lists all points, for more dimension, it skips few indeces.

Hello everyone,

I was trying to extract section data from a gridded netcdf file for plotting and also to get raw data. However when I use LIST, it only displays the data points for every other longitude/latitude on the section. Is there a limit to the number of points which Ferret can display? Or is there a command to make sure that it displays data for all points?

Would appreciate any suggestions. Thank you very much!
