Thank you very much for your help. After few trial and error processes, I guess if using Ferret, Ryo's method would work. I used Matlab to find the top X values which also worked smoothly.

I am using @MAX function to find the maximum value of my temperature data. I am wondering how can I use @MAX or other functions to find, say the top five warmest values.
